Event News: Linton Children's Book Festival 19-20th May
Hi folks! If you're anywhere near Cambridge this weekend and feel like a FREE book festival, why not drop by Linton Children's Book Festival?
Linton Village College is hosting a full weekend of events with some fantastic authors, poets and illustrators giving talks and workshops. Did I mention it was FREE!?
I'll be there on Sunday, running a couple of drawing and writing workshops. For further details of the full line up and booking info, click here.

Charlie Merrick's Misfits and more at Brentwood Children's Literary Festival
Hey folks! If anyone lives near Brentwood and is looking for summer holiday activities for the youngsters, check out what's on at the Brentwood Children's Literary Festival (22-30 July). Full details here.
If you're really stuck for something to do, I'll be at Brentwood Theatre on Thursday 28th, to talk about writing, drawing and how to survive should you meet a bear!
The event starts at 3pm and tickets are only £3 per person.

Gosforth Book Festival and Beyond!
I'm looking forward to heading out on the road again for a number of events up and down the country—stopping off in Cambridge, Newcastle, Corby, Wellingborough and London.
On Saturday (17th October) I'll be taking part in the Gosforth Community Book Festival. The event runs from 10am to 3pm, and is being hosted by Newcastle School for Boys in Gosforth, NE3.
As well as a great line up of authors giving talks and book signings, there will be arts and crafts activities, Flowing Tales creative writing workshops, plus the chance to purchase books from the Seven Stories book shop, and—most important of all—a cafe running throughout the day!
All events are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and Admission is FREE! So, if you're in the area, please come along—it would be great to see you!
